Sulaimi Brookman is a Singapore-born, UK based designer with the ability to turn exclusive haute couture designs into breathtaking ready-to-wear pieces for the discerning modern woman.
Schooled at the prestigious Raffles Design Institute in Singapore, he mastered the art of pattern cutting and developed his signature tailoring style which boasts exquisite workmanship and attention to detail.
Upon graduation, Sulaimi gained professional experience in the bridal industry where he honed his talent for creating extravagant evening gowns, and mastered the art of intricate beading. Sulaimi also ventured into retail, working at the Versace boutique, which helped him gain insight into customer demand and taste. His ability to easily adapt and accommodate the client is perhaps his most essential talent.
Sulaimi’s innovative use of lush fabrics and vibrant colours produces elegant, exclusive creations which incorporate both eastern and western elements. His versatility shows in his evening gowns which exude a contemporary yet timeless appeal.
